OMEGA Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon

The Omega Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon, reference 310.92.44.51.01.001, is a chronograph with a 44.25 mm black ceramic case. Thickness comes in at 13.02 mm, with a lug-to-lug span of 50 mm. The manual-winding calibre 9908 drives the watch, built with a column wheel and Co-Axial escapement and certified as a Master Chronometer to withstand magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss. A sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides covers the black dial, which carries small seconds and a tachymeter scale for timing. Power reserve runs to 60 hours, and the display back shows off the movement's Geneva waves finish. The black rubber strap closes with a foldover clasp. That same clasp helps keep the case sealed to 50 metres of water resistance.
