OMEGA Speedmaster Chronoscope

Omega's Speedmaster Chronoscope, reference 329.32.43.51.03.001, is a chronograph in a 43 mm steel case. The case measures 12.8 mm thick with a lug-to-lug span of 48.6 mm. A sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides covers the blue dial. Inside is the manual-winding calibre 9908, a column-wheel chronograph with a CoAxial escapement and silicon balance-spring, certified as a Master Chronometer and resistant to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss. Two barrels mounted in series give it a 60 hour power reserve. The dial also carries a small seconds counter and a tachymeter scale, and the display back shows the movement. It is fitted on a brown calf leather strap with a steel pin buckle, and the case is rated to 50 metres.
