OMEGA Speedmaster Chronoscope (Paris 2024)

Omega's Speedmaster Chronoscope, reference 522.30.43.51.02.001, is a chronograph in a 43 mm steel case. The case measures 13 mm thick with a lug-to-lug of 48.6 mm, and the silver dial sits under a sapphire crystal treated with anti-reflective coating on both sides. Inside is the manual-winding calibre 9908, a column-wheel chronograph with a Co-Axial escapement and silicon balance spring, certified as a Master Chronometer and resistant to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss. Power reserve runs to 60 hours across two barrels mounted in series. The dial carries a small seconds counter and a tachymeter scale for the chronograph function, along with a time zone indication. A steel bracelet with a folding clasp and comfort setting completes the watch. Water resistance is rated to 50 metres.
