OMEGA Speedmaster Chronoscope

The Omega Speedmaster Chronoscope, reference 329.33.43.51.02.001, is a chronograph in a 43 mm steel case. The case measures 12.8 mm thick with a lug-to-lug span of 48.6 mm. A sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides covers the silver dial. Inside is the manual-winding calibre 9908, a column-wheel chronograph movement with a Co-Axial escapement and a silicon balance spring, certified as a Master Chronometer and resistant to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss. Power reserve runs to 60 hours. Beyond the chronograph and small seconds counter, the dial carries a tachymeter scale, and the sapphire caseback shows the movement. It is fitted to a blue alligator leather strap with a stainless steel pin buckle. Water resistance sits at 50 metres.
