OMEGA Speedmaster Chronoscope

The Omega Speedmaster Chronoscope, reference 329.32.43.51.02.001, is a chronograph with a 43 mm steel case. Thickness comes to 12.8 mm, with a lug-to-lug span of 48.6 mm. The silver dial sits under a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides. Inside is the manual-winding calibre 9908, a column-wheel chronograph with a Co-Axial escapement, certified as a Master Chronometer and resistant to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss. Twin barrels mounted in series give a 60 hour power reserve, and the movement adds a small seconds counter alongside the chronograph's hour and minute totalisers. A sapphire display back shows the mechanism. The black leather strap closes with a steel pin buckle, and the case carries a 50 metre water resistance rating.
