The consignment headaches you know by heart
The consignor phone call
What did mine sell for, minus what, and when do I get paid. Three questions, and answering them means an evening of receipts and guesswork.
The shoebox of agreements
Terms scribbled on intake day, filed somewhere, remembered differently by both sides six months later when the watch finally sells.
Consigned mixed with owned
One inventory list, two kinds of ownership, and no reliable way to tell them apart when the accountant or the consignor asks.
Intake and inventory
Every consigned watch knows its owner
A consignment starts as an item like any other: photos, specs, price. The difference is one flag and one link. The flag marks it consigned, the link points at the consignor in your client list, and from that moment the watch can never get lost in your owned stock again.
- Consignment flag on the item, set at intake
- Consignor linked from your client list, terms on the record
- Owned and consigned stock separable in one filter
- Consigned watches publish to your channels like any other stock

Payout math
The split is arithmetic, not archaeology
Service, polishing, shipping, photos: costs land on the item as you incur them, each one flagged margin-eligible or not. When the watch sells, the sale record already holds the price, the eligible costs, and the margin, so the payout conversation starts from numbers both sides can check.
- Every cost line carries a margin-eligible flag
- Sale price, eligible costs, and margin in one view
- Your agreed split applied to real numbers
- Nothing reconstructed from memory at payout time
Consignor statements
Send a statement, not an apology
Consignors do not get a login, and that is the point: you decide what they see and when. Filter your exports to one consignor, attach the invoice PDFs, and the statement that used to take an evening takes a download.
- Exports filtered to a single consignor
- Invoice PDFs for every consigned sale
- Any date range, generated when you need it
- Statements need exports, included from Starter

How it works
- 01
Record the intake
Create the item, set the consignment flag, and link the consignor from your client list. Terms and agreed costs go on the record from day one.
- 02
List it
A consigned watch publishes to your channels exactly like owned stock: photos, specs, price, everywhere you sell.
- 03
Sell it
Record the sale as usual. The watch is marked sold, delisted from your channels, and the margin math is done against its cost lines.
- 04
Settle up
Export the sales filtered to that consignor, attach the invoice PDF, and send the statement. The payout call answers itself.
