OMEGA Speedmaster '57

Omega's Speedmaster '57, reference 332.12.41.51.10.001, is a chronograph with a 40.5 mm steel case. The case measures 12.99 mm thick with a lug-to-lug of 49.64 mm, and the green dial sits under a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides. The manual-winding calibre 9906 uses a column wheel and Co-Axial escapement, certified as a Master Chronometer and resistant to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss. It runs on a silicon balance-spring with two barrels mounted in series, giving a power reserve of 60 hours. Beyond the chronograph function, the watch has a date display and a small seconds counter, and the caseback is transparent. A green non-grained calf leather strap closes with a steel pin buckle. The case is rated to 50 metres of water resistance.
