OMEGA Speedmaster '57

The Omega Speedmaster '57, reference 332.12.41.51.01.001, is a chronograph with a 40.5 mm steel case. The case measures 12.99 mm thick with a lug-to-lug span of 49.64 mm. A sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides covers the black dial. Inside is the manual-winding calibre 9906, a column-wheel chronograph movement certified as a Master Chronometer, resistant to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss and running on a silicon balance-spring with 60 hours of power reserve. The date sits alongside a small seconds counter and a tachymeter scale on the dial. A transparent caseback shows the movement. The watch comes on a brown non-grained calf leather strap with a steel pin buckle, and it stays water resistant to a depth of 50 metres.
