OMEGA Speedmaster '57

Omega's Speedmaster '57, reference 332.10.41.51.03.001, has a steel case measuring 40.5 mm across. Thickness comes to 12.99 mm with a lug-to-lug span of 49.64 mm, and a blue dial sits under a sapphire crystal treated with anti-reflective coating on both sides. The manual-winding calibre 9906 drives the watch, a column-wheel chronograph with a silicon balance spring and two barrels mounted in series, giving a power reserve of 60 hours. It carries Master Chronometer certification from METAS and resists magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss. As a chronograph it also adds a tachymeter scale, small seconds and a date display, with the movement visible through a transparent caseback. The steel bracelet closes with a foldover clasp fitted with a comfort setting. Water resistance is rated to 50 metres.
