Blancpain's Bathyscaphe 5000A 0140 01S is a dive watch with a 43.6 mm ceramic case. The case measures 13.8 mm thick and carries a lug width of 23 mm. A sapphire crystal covers the sunburst blue dial, which sits under a unidirectional rotating bezel. The self-winding calibre 1315 drives the watch and stores 120 hours of power reserve. Central seconds and a date sit alongside the running seconds function. A ceramic strap with a folding clasp completes the case, matching the bezel insert in tone. Blancpain rates the case to 300 metres.
