Blancpain Bathyscaphe

Blancpain's Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe, reference 5000 0240 NAOA, is a dive watch with a 43.6 mm ceramic case. The case measures 13.8 mm thick and carries a unidirectional rotating bezel. A sapphire crystal covers the sunburst blue dial, which is fitted with a date window and a central seconds hand. The self-winding calibre 1315 drives the watch and stores 120 hours of power reserve, a notable figure for a watch of this size. Blancpain fits the case to a NATO textile strap closed with a pin buckle. Lug width is 23 mm. The screw-down construction and ceramic case hold the water resistance rating at 300 metres.
