Blancpain's Ladybird Ultraplate, reference 0062 1954F 52A, comes in a white gold case measuring 21.5 mm across. The case stands 8.4 mm thick, with a lug width of 11 mm suited to its small scale. Inside is the self-winding calibre 615, which gives a power reserve of 38 hours. The watch is set with diamonds, and the mother-of-pearl dial sits under a sapphire crystal with a central seconds hand. A satin strap closes the watch with a pin buckle. Despite its compact proportions, Blancpain still rates the case water resistant to 30 metres, a figure that covers ordinary daily wear rather than any serious exposure to water.
