Blancpain Bathyscaphe

Blancpain's Bathyscaphe 5000 36S30 NABA is a dive watch with a 43 mm case in rose gold. The case measures 13.4 mm thick and carries a 23 mm lug width, sized for the NATO strap fitted to it. A sapphire crystal covers the sunburst black dial. Inside is the self-winding calibre 1315, which stores 120 hours of power reserve, well beyond the usual two-day norm. The dial shows a central seconds display and a date window. The strap closes with a pin buckle rather than a folding clasp. Water resistance reaches 300 metres, putting this squarely among watches built for real diving rather than the pool.
