Blancpain's Bathyscaphe 5000 36S30 B52B is a 43 mm case in rose gold. The case measures 13.4 mm thick, with a lug width of 23 mm that suits the sail-canvas strap fitted to it. Sapphire crystal covers the sunburst black dial, which gives the watch a clean, legible face. Inside is the self-winding calibre 1315, a movement that offers a generous power reserve of 120 hours. The dial layout includes central seconds and a date window at the edge. A folding clasp secures the textile strap comfortably around the wrist. Blancpain rates the case to a water resistance of 300 metres, suitable for genuine diving use.
