Blancpain's Bathyscaphe 5000 1110 NAKA is a steel dive watch with a 43 mm case. The case measures 13.45 mm thick, and the lug width comes in at 23 mm, wide enough to suit the NATO-style strap it wears. A sapphire crystal covers the sunburst meteor grey dial, which carries a date window and a central seconds display. Inside is the self-winding calibre 1315, a movement that delivers a substantial power reserve of 120 hours. Blancpain fits the watch to a textile strap closed with a pin buckle rather than a bracelet. Rated to 300 metres, the case is built for genuine diving use rather than just show.
