Blancpain Bathyscaphe

Blancpain's Bathyscaphe 5000 1110 70B is a steel dive watch with a 43 mm case. Thickness comes in at 13.45 mm, and the lugs measure 23 mm across. A sapphire crystal covers the sunburst meteor grey dial, which carries a date window and a central seconds hand. The self-winding calibre 1315 drives the watch and stores 120 hours of power reserve, a useful margin if it sits unworn for a few days. Blancpain fits the movement with a secured-crown mechanism to guard against damage while setting the time. The case closes on a steel strap with a folding clasp. Rated to 300 metres, the Bathyscaphe is built for use well below the surface.
