Sekonda is a British wristwatch brand established in 1966. Originally, Sekonda watches were produced in the Soviet Union at various watch factories including the First Moscow Watch Factory and Petrodvorets Watch Factory, with the brand created by ChasProm for exporting the best Soviet watches. Many Soviet-era Sekonda watches were re-badged Poljot and Raketa watches. Following the breakup of the Soviet Union, Sekonda no longer has Russian ties and all watches have been produced from factories in Hong Kong since 1993. The brand also markets watches under sub-brands SEKSY for ladies' fashion, ONE for men's fashion, and Xpose for rugged outdoor lifestyles. Sekonda sells over a million watches annually in the UK.
