Sekonda
ActiveBritish watch brand founded in 1966 to export Soviet watches, now producing watches from Hong Kong factories since 1993.
Sekonda was established in 1966 by ChasProm as a brand to export the best watches from USSR factories including Poljot, Slava, Raketa, Luch, Molnija, Zarja, Vostok, and others. Many Soviet-era Sekonda watches were re-badged versions of these Russian brands. Following the breakup of the Soviet Union, Sekonda severed Russian ties and moved all production to Hong Kong factories in 1993. The brand now markets watches under sub-brands SEKSY for ladies' fashion, ONE for men's fashion, and Xpose for rugged outdoor lifestyles. Sekonda sells over a million watches annually in the UK.
