Official Alpharo sources say the brand is based in Cambridge, UK, and founder Alexander Ryan describes Alpharo as a project challenging conventional watch design. Companies House lists Alpharo Design Ltd as incorporated in 2025 and Alexander Mark Johan Ryan as director and person with significant control. Official and Kickstarter sources describe the Model 1 as a UK-designed and UK-assembled automatic watch using a Japanese Miyota 9039 movement, with curved hands and a 3D spiral dial inspired by non-Euclidean geometry. Because official sources support UK assembly but not owned movement production, the brand is classified as assembler.
