Swiss family-owned manufacturer specializing in high-precision quartz movements, employing over 1,000 worldwide and supplying major watch brands globally.

Founded on March 19, 1946 by William Mosset in Lausen, named after the French term 'arrondir' for rounding watch pivots. The first factory was built on November 18, 1946, starting with 45 employees producing balance staffs, stems, and pivots for lever movements. By the late 1950s, the workforce grew to 220, expanding to ébauches for Roskopf and pin-pallet movements. Ronda pioneered quartz technology, developing its first quartz movement in 1974 during the quartz crisis. After Mosset's death in 1985, his children (Elisabeth, Daniel, and Eric) assumed management. The company remains family-owned through three generations, with production facilities in Switzerland (Lausen, Basel, Jura, Ticino) and subsidiaries in Asia.
