Ludovic Ballouard

Ludovic Ballouard is a French independent watchmaker based in Geneva, Switzerland. He worked for seven years at F.P. Journe, where he was responsible for assembling the highly complicated Sonnerie Souveraine. In December 2009, he launched his own brand with the Upside Down watch, which features a unique philosophical concept: only the current hour appears right-side up while all other numerals are upside down, symbolizing the importance of living in the present. His watches are known for their intellectual depth, humor, and exceptional craftsmanship with extremely limited production numbers.
