Antoine Martin

Antoine Martin was established in 2009 when watchmaker Martin Braun founded MHO AG (Manufacture Horlogère Obwalden) with entrepreneur Antoine Meier in Alpnach. The brand name combines the founders' first names. Bruno Jufer was appointed CEO in 2010. The first collection debuted at Baselworld 2011, featuring the AM 39.001 caliber - a hand-wound perpetual calendar with a 6-day power reserve and an HPE escapement using silicon components. In 2013, Antoine Martin introduced the Slow Runner with caliber AM 36.001, beating at 7,200 vibrations per hour (1Hz), less than half the frequency of any other modern mechanical watch. Martin Braun assumed leadership in early 2014 after Bruno Jufer departed. The brand has since become dormant.
