Aevig

Aevig was founded in 2013 by Chip Yuen, a long-time watch collector focused on vintage watches from the 1950s to 1970s. Collecting led him to Watchuseek, the world's largest watch community, where he designed two project watches. With a background in arts, design, filmmaking, and Chinese food (family business), Yuen launched Aevig with two debut models: the Huldra automatic diver and the Corvid quartz field watch. The brand name comes from an ancient Norse word meaning 'eternal.' Except for the movements used, everything is designed and made from scratch. All designs are vintage-inspired, spanning categories from dress watches to dive watches. The latest model is the Thule, available as a basic three-hander sportswatch or as GMT, featuring scratch-resistant coated titanium.
