Vacheron Constantin's Métiers d'Art Tribute to great civilisations, Lion de Darius, reference 7620A/000R-B926, has a 42 mm rose gold case. The case measures 12.93 mm thick. A sapphire crystal covers the dial, itself engraved with writing elements from an Old Persian tablet and set against a turquoise and mochaite jasper stone marquetry background. The hand-engraved gold applique depicting the Lion of Darius sits at the centre, drawn from a decorative element of the Palace of Darius in Susa. Inside is the self-winding calibre 2460 G4/2, bearing the Hallmark of Geneva, with date and weekday shown by aperture and a sapphire caseback revealing the movement. The watch is fitted on an alligator leather strap. Water resistance is rated to 30 metres.
