Vacheron Constantin's Métiers d'Art Tribute to great civilisations - Lamassu de Sargon II, reference 7620A/000G-H080, comes in a 42 mm white gold case measuring 12.93 mm thick. The dial is executed in 18K gold and depicts the Lamassu of Sargon II in glyptic limestone sandstone, worked with champlevé engraving and flinqué enamel, framed by an engraved gold frieze after an 1863 painting held at the Louvre. A sapphire crystal covers the dial, and a sapphire caseback shows the self-winding calibre 2460 G4/2, which carries the Hallmark of Geneva and offers 40 hours of power reserve. Day and date appear by aperture. This is a limited edition on a red alligator leather strap with a white gold folding clasp. Vacheron Constantin rates the case to 30 metres.
