Vacheron Constantin's Métiers d'Art Tribute to great civilisations - Buste d'Auguste, reference 7620A/000G-B929, comes in a 42 mm white gold case standing 12.93 mm thick. The dial is a hand-engraved 18K gold applique of the Buste of Augustus set against an enamel blue-green centre with stone micro-mosaic detail, protected by a sapphire crystal. Inside is the self-winding calibre 2460 G4/2, certified with the Hallmark of Geneva and holding a 40-hour power reserve. Functions are limited to day, date and hour and minute apertures, kept deliberately simple to let the dial work carry the piece. A sapphire caseback shows the movement from behind. The watch is fitted to an alligator leather strap secured by a white gold folding clasp. Water resistance sits at 30 metres.
