Vacheron Constantin's Égérie moon phase, reference 8005F/120A-B497, measures 37 mm across in steel. The case stands 10.23 mm thick and carries a sapphire crystal over an opaline dial finished in a fine pleated pattern. Inside is the self-winding calibre 1088 L, with 40 hours of power reserve and a display back showing the movement. The moon phase sits off-centre within a diamond-set ring, its gold moons passing behind mother-of-pearl clouds, and a central seconds hand marks the running time. The watch is set with diamonds. A steel bracelet with a folding clasp completes the piece. Water resistance is a modest 30 metres, enough for everyday wear but not for diving.
