Ulysse Nardin Freak X Marquetry

The Ulysse Nardin Freak X Marquetry, reference 2303-270LE/03-MARQ-BQ, has a titanium case measuring 43 mm across. The case stands 13.38 mm thick and is finished in blue PVD. A sapphire crystal covers the dial, which forms part of the Freak's flying carousel display rather than a conventional face. The self-winding calibre UN-230 drives the watch, offering 72 hours of power reserve through its silicon escapement. This is a limited edition, one of only 30 pieces made, each fitted with a "gummy-effect" alligator strap. Water resistance is modest at 50 metres, adequate for a piece built around its mechanical display rather than everyday wear.
