Ulysse Nardin Freak X Crystalium

Ulysse Nardin's Freak X Crystalium, reference 2303-270-4A/3A, has a titanium case measuring 43 mm across. The case stands 13.92 mm thick and is finished in black PVD. A sapphire crystal covers the movement, which rotates in place of a conventional dial to indicate the time. The self-winding calibre UN-230 uses a flying carousel construction and a silicon escapement, with 21 jewels and a power reserve of 72 hours. This flying carousel arrangement is the watch's defining complication. A textured rubber strap closes the piece. Ulysse Nardin rates the case to 50 metres of water resistance.
