Ulysse Nardin Freak X Magma

Ulysse Nardin's Freak X Magma, reference 2303-270/MAGMA-BQ, comes in a 43 mm carbon case with a marbled red and black finish that makes each piece unique. The case measures 13.38 mm thick and holds a sapphire crystal over a display of the movement itself, in place of a conventional dial. Carbon fibre mixed with epoxy resin keeps the watch light and scratch-resistant. The self-winding calibre UN-230 drives the flying carousel that shows the hours and minutes, and the movement holds a 72 hour power reserve on a silicon escapement. A calf leather strap closes the piece. Water resistance is rated to 50 metres.
