Ulysse Nardin Freak X Enamel Blue

Ulysse Nardin's Freak X Enamel Blue, reference 2303-270LE-3AE-THG/3A, has a titanium case measuring 43 mm across. The case stands 13.38 mm thick and carries a sapphire crystal over the dial. Instead of a conventional movement display, the calibre UN-230 itself forms the display, with a flying carousel taking the place of hands for hours and minutes. The self-winding movement runs in 21 jewels and stores 72 hours of power reserve, with a silicon escapement. This limited edition is one of only 50 pieces, made to mark the 15th anniversary of The Hour Glass in Thailand. A "gummy-effect" alligator strap closes the piece on the wrist. Ulysse Nardin rates the titanium case to 50 metres of water resistance.
