RSW
ActiveRSW, short for Rama Swiss Watch, is a Swiss watch brand in the RIBA WATCH Group. It makes quartz and mechanical watches with contemporary case designs and open-heart models.
RSW traces its heritage to the Marachly family's watch shop in Damascus, founded in 1914. The family business later moved to Switzerland. The current official history dates the relaunch under the RSW name to 1983. RIBA WATCH acquired RSW and RAMA in 2018. The group introduced its RW24 movement project in 2023 and moved its offices and production facilities to La Chaux-de-Fonds later that year. RSW's current legal notice and exhibition profile place the brand there. Official production descriptions emphasize calibre selection, assembly and testing; the group's movement-development claims do not establish complete brand-owned movement manufacture.
