Kari Voutilainen is a Finnish independent watchmaker residing in Môtiers, Switzerland, widely considered one of the greatest living watchmakers. He founded his eponymous brand in 2002 after a decade at Parmigiani Fleurier restoring complicated watches. Voutilainen has won ten Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève awards. His watches are characterized by exceptional hand-finishing, innovative complications like the world's first decimal repeater in a wristwatch (2005), and use of traditional techniques combined with modern innovation. He also owns dial and case manufacturing companies and acquired Urban Jürgensen in 2021.
