HYT

HYT (Hydro Technology) is a Swiss luxury watch brand founded in 2012 in Neuchâtel. It is the only watchmaking company to display time using fluids, combining high-precision mechanical movements with patented micro-fluidic technology. The brand was born from Lucien Vouillamoz's dream of using liquid to display time on a mechanical watch, inspired by the ancient Clepsydra (water clock). HYT's watches use two immiscible colored fluids in a nano-engineered glass capillary tube, powered by a mechanical movement that drives two bellows. The brand won a Grand Prix award in its first year and continues to push the boundaries of hydromechanical horology.
