HAUTLENCE is a Swiss independent watch brand known for unconventional mechanical displays, including jumping hours, retrograde indications, rotating chains and architectural cases.

HAUTLENCE was founded in Neuchâtel in 2004 by Guillaume Tetu and his team. The name is an anagram of Neuchâtel, which fits the brand's early focus on rethinking how a mechanical watch can show time. In 2012, the Meylan family brought HAUTLENCE into MELB Holding alongside H. Moser & Cie. Operations were consolidated in Schaffhausen in 2020, closer to the group's watchmaking and component infrastructure.
