Independent Swiss manufacture based in Schaffhausen, known for minimalist design, fumé dials, and in-house movements with a proprietary Straumann hairspring. Led by CEO Edouard Meylan.

Heinrich Moser, born in 1805 in Schaffhausen into a family of watchmakers, founded H. Moser & Cie. in 1828 in St. Petersburg, becoming watchmaker to the Russian aristocracy. He opened a watch factory in Le Locle in 1829 and returned to Schaffhausen in 1848 to establish another factory. After his death in 1874, the company was split between managing directors. During the quartz crisis, the brand became part of the Dixi Mechanique Group and the original name was dropped. In 2002, Moser Schaffhausen AG was founded by Dr. Jürgen Lange together with Heinrich Moser's great-grandson Roger Nicholas Balsiger. The brand was formally relaunched in 2005 with a new manufacture in Schaffhausen. In 2006, the Perpetual Calendar won the Geneva Watchmaking Grand Prix. The proprietary Straumann Hairspring was introduced at Baselworld 2007. Since 2012, H. Moser & Cie. has been owned by the MELB Holding Group of the Meylan family.
