Gérald Charles Genta founded Gerald Charles in 2000. In 2003 he transferred the company to the Ziviani family and remained its chief designer until 2011. The company continues to develop watches from his design archive. Its current legal headquarters are in Lugano, and it operates an atelier, showroom and museum in Geneva. The current collection includes automatic sports watches, chronographs, jumping-hour watches and tourbillons. Vaucher Manufacture Fleurier produces movements for the brand; proprietary modules do not establish independent manufacture of complete movements.
