Eberhard & Co.

Eberhard & Co. was founded in 1887 by Georges-Lucien Eberhard in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. The company specialized in chronographs and precision timing instruments. In 1919, Eberhard patented a single-button chronograph system. The brand introduced the Extra-Fort chronograph in 1939 and the Tazio Nuvolari collection in the 1990s, named after the racing driver who wore Eberhard watches. In 2001, Eberhard launched the Chrono 4, the first chronograph with all four counters arranged horizontally in a single line.
