The EB 280 is a manual-winding flyback chronograph movement developed in collaboration with Manufacture AMT, the high-end division of Sellita. Using a Sellita AMT5100 base, the movement controls the flyback chronograph with a column wheel. It features extensive modifications including a special lever that allows the chronograph reset pusher to be displaced coaxially with the crown. The movement also features a distinctive shield-shaped bridge decorated with Côtes de Genève, which is a poinçon de maître (maker's mark) that Eberhard registered in 1892. Powers the Chronographe 1887 Édition Limitée collection.
