Jean-Claude and Pierre Biver established their watch company in 2022 and introduced its first watch, the Carillon Tourbillon, in 2023. The brand's current story page dates its beginning to that 2023 public launch. The company operates as jcbiver SA in Givrins, Switzerland. In September 2024, BIVER introduced the Automatique, a time-only watch powered by the micro-rotor calibre JCB-003, developed in partnership with Dubois Depraz. In October 2026, it added the AB, its first steel watch and first manually wound model. The AB's JCB-004 movement was developed with Le Cercle des Horlogers. At the Givrins atelier, each AB is assembled twice by one watchmaker, with cleaning between builds and testing before delivery.
