Vacheron Constantin Historiques Cornes de vache 1955

Vacheron Constantin's Historiques Cornes de Vache 1955, reference 5000H/000R-B059, measures 38.5 mm in rose gold. The case stands 10.9 mm thick, with the distinctive horn-shaped lugs that give the model its name. A sapphire crystal covers the silver dial, which carries small seconds alongside the chronograph counters. Inside is the manual-winding calibre 1142, a column-wheel chronograph movement stamped with the Genevian Seal and offering 48 hours of power reserve. Through the sapphire display back the finishing of this chronograph is visible. The watch is fitted to a calf leather strap with a rose gold pin buckle. Water resistance is rated to 30 metres, modest but consistent with its dress chronograph character.
