Vacheron Constantin's Historiques 222, reference 4200H/222J-B935, is a 37 mm watch in yellow gold. The tonneau-shaped case measures 7.95 mm thick and closes with a screw-down crown. A sapphire crystal covers the gold-toned dial, which shows luminous hands and indices along with a date aperture and central seconds. Inside is the self-winding calibre 2455/2, running with a 40-hour power reserve and bearing the Genevian Seal for its finishing. The sapphire caseback shows the movement and its redesigned oscillating weight. An integrated yellow gold bracelet closes with a folding clasp. Water resistance is set at 50 metres, enough for daily wear without much thought.
