Vacheron Constantin's Historiques 222, reference 4200H/222A-B934, has a steel case measuring 37 mm across and 7.95 mm thick. The fluted bezel and integrated bracelet recall the original 1970s design, and the case carries the Hallmark of Geneva. A sapphire crystal covers the blue dial, which has a date aperture at 3 o'clock and luminous hands and indices. The self-winding calibre 2455/2 runs the show, visible through a sapphire caseback, and holds a 40-hour power reserve. Central seconds complete the display. The steel bracelet closes with a folding clasp. The screw-down crown helps keep the case rated to 50 metres of water resistance.
