Ulysse Nardin Freak X Blue

Ulysse Nardin's Freak X Blue, reference 2323-500-3A/7A, comes in a 41 mm steel case. The case measures 13.6 mm thick and sits under a sapphire crystal. Rather than a conventional dial, the movement itself displays the time, with the hour and minute indications carried on a flying carousel that rotates around its own axis. The self-winding calibre UN-232 uses a silicon balance wheel and spring, a DIAMonSIL escapement and a rose gold micro-rotor, and it stores 72 hours of power reserve. The complication is the flying carousel, an Ulysse Nardin signature. The watch is fitted on a steel strap. Water resistance is set at 100 metres.
