Ulysse Nardin's Freak S WOS Centenary Exclusive, reference 2513-500LE-7A-WOS/3A, comes in a titanium case with anthracite PVD treatment measuring 45 mm across. The case carries a sapphire crystal and holds up the self-winding calibre UN-251, which runs on a flying carousel movement that rotates around its own axis rather than a fixed centre. Two oversized oscillators, inclined at 20 degrees and fitted with silicon balance wheels, drive the hours and minutes display. Power reserve stands at 72 hours. This is a limited edition, one of only 10 pieces made to mark a centenary. The watch is fitted to a textured rubber strap. Water resistance is a modest 30 metres, enough for everyday wear but not for diving.
