Ulysse Nardin Freak S

Ulysse Nardin's Freak S, reference 2513-500LE-2A-BLACK-5N/1A, has a 45 mm case in titanium, gold and ceramic. The case measures 16.65 mm thick and carries a sapphire crystal in place of a conventional dial glass. There is no dial and no crown in the usual sense: the movement itself rotates to display the hours and minutes. Calibre UN-251 winds itself and stores 72 hours of power reserve, driving a flying carousel that turns around its own axis with two inclined oscillators on silicon balance wheels. This example is a limited edition, one of 75 pieces made. The strap is a "gummy-effect" openworked alligator. Water resistance is modest for the type, rated to 30 metres.
