Ulysse Nardin Blast Tourbillon Sparkling

Ulysse Nardin's Blast Tourbillon Sparkling, reference 1720-400BLE-3A/00, comes in an 18 ct white gold case measuring 45 mm across. The case stands 12.6 mm thick and the white dial, set with thirty baguette diamonds, sits under a sapphire crystal. Inside is the self-winding calibre UN-172, a flying tourbillon movement with a silicon escapement and 72 hours of power reserve. Being set with diamonds, the dial catches light differently at every angle, and the flying tourbillon turns in open view at the dial's centre. This is a limited edition, one of only three pieces made. A rubber strap completes the watch. Ulysse Nardin rates the case to 50 metres of water resistance.
