Ulysse Nardin Blast Tourbillon

Ulysse Nardin's Blast Tourbillon, reference 1723-400/00, measures 45 mm across in a titanium and ceramic case. The case is 12.6 mm thick, substantial but kept light by the titanium construction. A sapphire crystal covers the grey and white dial, which shows hours and minutes only. The self-winding calibre UN-172 drives a flying tourbillon, visible through the dial, and stores 72 hours of power reserve. Twenty-five jewels support the movement, and the escapement is made of silicon. The watch is fitted to a calf leather and rubber strap. Water resistance reaches 50 metres.
