Ulysse Nardin's Blast Tourbillon Free Wheel, reference 1766-176LE/AVE, is a limited edition of 18 pieces in an 18 ct rose gold case measuring 44 mm across. The case is 13.46 mm thick and closes under a sapphire crystal. The blue aventurine dial pairs with the manual-winding calibre UN-176, which runs at 18,000vph on 23 jewels with a silicon escapement. This movement carries a flying tourbillon and a power reserve display, the latter tracking the watch's 170-hour reserve. An alligator leather strap completes the piece. Water resistance is modest. Ulysse Nardin rates the case to 30 metres.
