Ulysse Nardin's Blast Tourbillon Free Wheel, reference 1766-176, has a 44 mm case in rose gold. The case measures 13.46 mm thick and the dial sits under a sapphire crystal. The manual-winding calibre UN-176 drives the movement, fitted with 23 jewels and a silicon escapement. A flying tourbillon with the Ulysse Anchor Constant Escapement is visible on the dial, alongside a power reserve indicator that reads up to 170 hours. Hours and minutes are the only other functions shown, kept deliberately simple against the movement's mechanical display. An alligator leather strap closes out the piece. Thirty metres of water resistance is enough for accidental splashes, not for swimming or diving.
