Ulysse Nardin's Blast Free Wheel Marquetry, reference 1760-401-3A/1A, has a white gold case measuring 45 mm across. The case is 12.4 mm thick and the dial sits under a sapphire crystal. Silicon marquetry gives the dial its blue-toned, artistic finish, a departure from the usual technical read of the Blast line. The manual-winding UN-176 calibre drives the watch, with 170 hours of power reserve and 23 jewels. A flying tourbillon with the Ulysse Anchor Constant Escapement anchors the movement, paired with a power reserve display on the dial. The watch is fitted to a "gummy-effect" alligator leather strap. Water resistance is a modest 30 metres, in keeping with a piece built for the wrist rather than the water.
